That the blessings associated with gospel-centered sacrifice find their way into the lives of the faithful is wonderful, but is (hopefully) not the only motivation to do it.<br /><br />For me, a part of gospel centered sacrifice is that there may not always be a clear line of sight between the sacrifice and blessing (compared to, say, the sacrific of that morning danish that leads to weight loss).<br /><br />Interesting point about government subsidy for tithing.
